Today is Tamu Lhosar so happy Lhosar.

Tamu lhosar is a new year festival of Gurung people of Nepal and Sikkim and Darjeeling regions of India. It is celebrated on every 15th Poush (December/January) or the Nepali calendar. Happy tamu lhosar 😃

Lets talk about ‘Pokhara’. Pokhara is a beautiful place.It is a city on Phewa lake, that lake is very beautiful. Pokhara lies on an important old trading route between China and India.

Lets talk about the history of pokhara:

In the 17th century, it was part of the Kingdom of Kaski which was one of the Chaubisi rajya (24 Kingdoms of Nepal, Chaubisi rajya ruled by a branch of the Shah Dynasty. Many of the hills around Phokhara still have medieval ruins from this time.

In pokhara there are many amazing resorts/hotelwhere you get amazing rooms,food,view etc. If you come to Nepal and would want to go somewhere I recommend pokhara. Even in my holidays i would love to go to pokhara. Some amazing things of Pokhara are that there are many beautiful shops where you get handmade items or paintings and there are some restaurants as well which are called “Thakali” there are many thakali you get delicious foods there like the national food (dal,bhat tarkari) and chicken well. This is my second blog. In this blog i will talk about Nepal,the current country i am living on. Lets talk about what is nepal? Nepal is a landlocked country. Nepal is filled with mountains and has an amazing view. Even though nepal is a amazing country, it does need some development that are:~

1. It needs to be less polluted 2. People should stop believing in old believes. 3.Nepal has some places where the roads are not good so that has to be fixed too.

Where as, There are some good places where we can travel while coming to Nepal for example: kathmandu(Where I live), Pokhara, Chitwan, in chitwan you can see many animals you can do jungle safari as well, Basantapur, Sindhuli etc.

Nepals national food is: Rice pulses and vegetables ( Dal, Bhat,Tarkari)and the national bird of Nepal is dafe bird 🐦. Be sure to come to visit nepal and also don’t forget to try out the national food. Thank You 😊.
